Avail ‘Dial 100’ facility, tells SP
Nizamabad: In a press release issued here on Tuesday, the District Superintendent of Police K V Mohan Rao asked the people to make appropriate use of ‘Dial 100’ facility. The ‘Dial 100’ program received a total number of 2,393 phone calls from respondents across the cities of Nizamabad, Kamareddy and Armur, Bodhan sub-division during the period of 09-08-2013 to 09-09-2013, informed the SP.
Giving break-up of the cases, Mr. Mohan Rao revealed that 211 cases were reported on account of physical offences, 672 cases under accidents and 60 under property offences, 220 cases under suicide and attempted suicide, 1021 cases pertaining to other incidents, 209 cases were registered under false calls. In most cases, the police rushed to the scene within 5 minutes after being informed about the incidents, stated the Superintendent of Police.
