##BIG-IMAGE#HYDERABAD: BJP MP Subramanian Swamy on Sunday said, “We will win Babri Masjid case before January” and Ram temple will help the party win elections.

Giving a talk — Is Indian Economy in Tailspin? — Swamy said the BJP government failed on the macroeconomics front, but people vote on emotive issues. In reply to a question, Swamy said, “On the microeconomics front, Modi government did well.

Schemes like Ujwala changed lives of poor women. However, on the marco front, the government failed. But, economics won’t help win elections.

It was proof during the regimes of Morarji Desai, Narasimha Rao and Vajpayee. They lost despite good growth rate.”He said, “Building the Ram temple will help BJP win polls. I am sure the party will sweep north India.

But we are not promoting Ram temple because we promised to do it. The claim of the Muslim body is property related. But Hindu organisations claimed it’s their place of worship as Ram was born in Ayodhya,” Swamy observed that right to worship as the constitutional right would prevail over property claim.

And the constitution should bring a command to build the temple. “Reply to a related query, Swamy said,” Muslims particularly Shias, Bohras, and women are not against Ram mandir.

If ever any masjid has to be built it can be done in adjoining districts to Ayodhya, where there’s a Muslim population.”On Sabarimala, he said, “Initially, I supported women to enter the temple as a constitutional right.

The communist government would have educated women on the issue of genetic mutations. Scientists told me due to gravity on the Sabarimala hills, it affect eggs of a woman leading to genetic changes before pregnancy.”
