Hyderabad: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday told the TPCC leaders to ensure that the alliance with other parties takes shape at any cost, during his meeting with them at the Begumpet Air Port before leaving for Delhi.
Rahul Gandhi who arrived in Hyderabad to participate in public meeting from Kama Reddy, left for Delhi in a special air craft in the evening. He had an interaction for about 10 minutes with the TPCC leaders. Party leaders RC Khuntia, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, DK Aruna, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Vijayashanti, Renuka Chowdary, Madhu Yashki, Geetha Reddy and Ponnam Prabhakar were among those who met Rahul.
Rahul Gandhi told the TPCC leaders not to give seats to the alliance partners in which the Congress has good chances to win. He said as the political atmosphere was much favorable to Congress, everyone should work unitedly. On the other hand, Strategy Committee chairman V Hanumantha Rao had a tiff with the TPCC leaders. He alleged that the meeting with Rahul was ended before he arrived at the airport.
