New Delhi: Just a week after being hit on neck by a man during an election ally in Haryana, Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal was punched on the back during his road show in Dakshinpuri area of South Delhi on Friday.
The attacker was later beaten up by AAP workers and handed over to the police.
Talking to the news reporters later, Kejriwal said “there are a few people who can cross any limit in order to become PM. But, we won’t stop them from doing such and won’t raise our hand at all, as our religion teaches us to be non-violent. Our getting aggressive can end the whole moment there and then”
Kejriwal also urged his supporters to maintain calm and not to indulge in any kind of violence.
The accused is identified as Abdul Wahid.
