Spoken English course at JKC from Friday

The Department of English of JKC College will offer a 20-day certificate course in ‘Spoken English and Speaking Skills’ from May 1 as part of its summer coaching camp. P Gopichand and P Nagasusheela, associate professors of English Department who are the organisers and resource persons of the certificate programme, on Tuesday said that special care would be taken about each and every candidate depending on their individual ability and understanding of the subject.

Anyone interested in Spoken English, including children and senior citizens, can pursue the certificate course which covers grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and other aspects. “We are experimenting with several innovative teaching methods through the certificate course to enhance the spoken English skills of candidates,” they said.
