We might not have ever imagined, that poisonous chemicals with which we come in contact with everyday might be hazardous, making our fertility levels to drop.
Printers that are widely used across the world, the inkjet cartridges inserted within them have ‘glymes’ which affects the level of fertility. Study shows that the workers in factories where glymes are produced and used extensively have a really high rate of infertility. These glymes are often present in lithium batteries, paints and carpet cleaners.
“It is also proven that, only a few out of 60,000 commercial products are examined that are suitable and fit to use. Also, too much exposure to vinyl products like room fresheners, scented candles, detergents, hairsprays etc. can also be a curse for our bodies.
It is a grave matter of concern that even water has presence of certain nitrates that causes infertility. Excessive intake of sugar can also develop erectile dysfunction. Paints, pet care products, building material could also be a root cause and may affect fertility levels.
“We are often exposed to several products in our day-to-day life which we think are safe, might not be totally safe for our health. They might be damaging your chromosomes, functional birth defects, menstrual problems or even disrupting the hormones. Thus, one must adopt practices that reduce exposure to such products.” Dr. Bakshi further added.
