A businessman committed suicide by pouring petrol on him in broad day light under Sanathnagar PS limits

A businessman committed suicide by pouring petrol on him at Snehapuri colony under Sanathnagar police station limits on Thursday. The victim identified as Venkatesh Gupta.

According to police, the victim sat infront of his house for quite some time and suddenly poured petrol on him and lit the fire in broad day light. With burnings he shouted for help but nobody tried to save him. His wife tried to rescue him but with severe burn injuries he died on the spot.

Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem. By filing a case police are investigating in the angles whether the victim has any financial debts or he has any family disputes.
