4 held for batteries theft in Hyderabad

Four people were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly stealing batteries from parked vehicles here at Goshamahal.

According to the Assistant Commissioner of Police M Narendar Reddy, the accused have been committing the crime for the last six months at the Goshamahal police grounds where they stole around 200 batteries from the vehicles.

The vehicles seized by the traffic police due to lack of documents will be dumped at the Goshamahal police grounds. Of the four accused, Shahrukh Khan and Shaik Taher used to steal the batteries and sell them to Anil and Ramesh, who are battery dealers.
