A TSRTC bus driver suffered a cardiac arrest while driving the bus and managed to stop the vehicle averting a major mishap near Kamanpur village in Peddapalli of erstwhile Karimnagar district.
The bus driver Mahendra with 52 people on board was heading to Secunderabad from Godavarikhani when he suffered the cardiac arrest and fell on the steering after travelling four kilometres. However, he managed to stop the vehicle. A doctor who was travelling on the bus has done the first aid to the driver and shifted him to Peddapalli hospital. He was later shifted to Karimnagar hospital for better treatment.
