There is utter confusion about whether Paritala Sriram, son of AP Minister Paritala Sunitha will contest the elections from Lok Sabha or Assembly. Though he is trying to contest for the Hindupur Lok Sabha seat, the final decision lies in the hands of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. This was stated by none other than Paritala Sunitha herself.
Sriram has been planning to join electoral politics for quite some time. He tried to contest for the assembly from Penugonda, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Kalyanadurg and other seats. But, the sitting MLAs strongly resisted the attempts. So, finally he decided to contest for the Lok Sabha from Hindupur.
Paritala Sunitha reportedly broached the subject with Chandrababu himself, but Chandrababu reportedly did not respond. Currently, the constituency is being represented by Nimmala Kishtappa. Will Chandrababu give ticket to Sriram and deny the same to the sitting MP? Let's wait and see who things unfold.
