Students staged a big dharna before NG Ranga university in Bapatla against the permission given to a private management to open a college in the government college premises.
As a result, university authorities closed hostels leaving the students without food in the afternoon. Nearly, 500 students suffered from hunger.
Some of them had lunch at Anna canteens.
