Farmers Bear The Brunt of Cyclone In AP

The East Godavari district bore the brunt of the cyclone Phethai that ravaged the coastal Andhra districts for the last two days.

Standing crops were completely damaged under the influence of heavy rains. In some areas, the harvest was completely drenched in the rain waters.

Farmers poured out their woes that they were already deprived of remunarative prices to their agriculture produce . The withered crops will cripple their livelihoods further.
