Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Election Campaign Committee Convenor and Khairtabad candidate Dr Sravan Dasoju, as part of his door-to-door electoral campaign, visited the areas Gurubrahma Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Durgabhavani Nagar, Indira Nagar, Kamalapuri Colony of Jubliee Hills Division on Friday.
Dr Sravan felt heartbroken after witnessing the pathetic situation and living conditions of people at slums. Dr. Sravan patiently listened to the women grievances and assured them he would regularizing the land pattas once elected to office. He appealed the people to defeat both the TRS and BJP for not keeping up their promises. He criticized that both Modi and KCR are competing to cheat on public. He also reminded that KCR has failed to keep up his promise of constructing double bed-room houses and drinking water to every household. He appealed the people to dethrone both the TRS and BJP and elect the Congress for restoring Democracy.
Talking to media persons, Dr Sravan cautioned the people not to fall in prey of the gimmicks played by TRS and BJP. He advised the people not to spoil their future by getting influenced with short term benefits.
Dr. Sravan, while interacting with women, told them that once Congress is voted to power, it woudl provide six cylinders for each household at free of cost. He also told that SC’s and ST’s will be given Rs. 6 lakhs for the construction of houses. He also slammed TRS government for their negligence towards the development of Khairatabad which is located in the center point of city.
He also reminded that in the erstwhile government of Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, the land pattas were distributed but unfortunately TRS government never bothered in the last four and half years and made no efforts to construct the houses.
During his door-to-door campaign at the basthis in Jubliee Hills Dr Sravan paid tributes to PJR and appealed the people to elect him as his successor.
People at basthis explained their plight of not having toilets and basic needs. Dr Sravan assured for the construction of permanent houses to the poor once elected to office.
Communist Party of India (CPI), Hyderabad City Council, led by G Harinath Goud, held a general body meeting at Hyderabad Office today and pledged to work for the victory of Praja Kutami contestant Dr. Sravan Dasoju. Speaking to media CPI Khairatabad Constituency Secretary G Harinath Goud expressed that Khairatabad needs a potential candidate like Dr Sravan Dasoju who is well educated and a visionary leader.
All India Professionals’ Congress Telangana Unit held a massive campaign holding placards in support to Dr Sravan Dasoju and campaigned door-to-door by supporting his candidature. AIPC leaders Santosh and others were present.
People's Front leaders including Rohin Reddy, Madhukar Yadav, Narikella Naresh and Gnaneshwar of Congress, CPI Khairatabad Secretary G Harinath Goud, OU JAC leader K Vijay Kumar and senior leaders Raghava Reddy, M Prakash Rao and the cadres of CPI, TDP, TJS and Congress were present.
