BANGALORE: On Friday the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) had launched a digital library for its tech students. It was launched by the chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Anil Sahasrabudhe and the governor of Karnataka Vajubhai Vala at the Tech VCs' meeting.

The digital library comprises of 16,000 e-books and VTU is also planning to make it accessible to the students with the help of an app. "We are working on the application," said Karisiddappa, vice-chancellor, VTU.

The digital library is loaded with competitive exam resources, course books, general magazines, leisure reading materials and VTU study materials. Students can log on to vtulib.kopykitab.com and they will be provided with a password to access the books.
