Extending support to the Kerala flood victims, the Telangana IAS Officers' Association on Monday have announced that they would contribute at least one day salary of the serving officers to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

The association expressed deep concern over the loss of lives and the hardships being faced by the people due to the floods. They extended support for the ongoing rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts being carried out in the state.

Earlier on Sunday, the Telangana Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy handed over a cheque for Rs 25 crore as financial assistance to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram for the flood relief activities.
