Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) president M Kodandaram on Monday addressed the media in Karimnagar where he announced that the party will contest elections on its own without any alliance.

Pointing out that the state government could construct Pragathi Bhavan at a cost of Rs 300 crore in three months but is not interested in constructing the promised Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial and Ambedkar statue in Hyderabad, he warned to launch agitations demanding martyrs’ memorial in Hyderabad shortly.

Kodandaram alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is using power for his selfish gains when people fought intensely for the cause of separate Telangana.

The TJS President reiterated that the party would emerge as an alternative political force in Telangana.
