Khammam: Khammam Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Jha here on Friday directed the officials to prevent drinking water contamination in the rainy season. The Commissioner visited 42nd division and inspected the sanitary conditions in various colonies.
Later Sandeep Kumar Jha held a review meeting with the engineering and officials, besides the contractors at his chamber in Municipal Corporation office here. Speaking at the meeting, the Commissioner said several development works were taken in various divisions.
He directed the engineers and sanitation staff to complete the ongoing development and sanitation works as early as possible. He stressed the need to prevent drinking water contamination. He directed the officials to pay the bills to the contractors for the completed works. Superintending Engineer Shiva Kumar, Additional Engineer Ranga Rao and Municipal officials were present at the programme.
