Khammam: State president of the BR Ambedkar Praja Sankshema Sangham Lingala Ravi Kumar here on Thursday appealed to the people of SC, ST, BC and Minority communities to fight united for acquiring their rights and for the development of the downtrodden.
A meeting was held with the representatives of the BR Ambedkar Praja Sankshema Sangham here at the office of the association at ZP Centre in Khammam.
Attending as chief guest at the meeting, Ravi Kumar said a number of awareness programmes were being conducted on behalf of the organisation apart from participating in several movements on various peoples’ issues and for the rights of people belonging to SC, ST, BC and Minorities communities.
It was high time for the people belonging to SC, ST, BC and minority communities who comprised of 93 percent of population in the State along with working section and depressed ones to come under one platform and fight unitedly for their rights and to achieve political power, he observed.
Representatives of the association M Krishnamachary, G Veerabhadram, P Krishna, Mohammad Gouse, Gangadhar, Ramesh, Nageshwar Rao, Ashok, Prabhakar, Sudhakar and Manoj were present along with others.
