Darusshifa: In connection with the 71st Independence Day celebrations the Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, launched a five-day exhibition at Salarjung Museum.
Former Union Minister and Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya and BJP State president & Musheerabad MLA Dr K Laxman inaugurated the exhibition.
According to organisers, the focus of the exhibition will be on New Vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India from 2017 to 2022.
The five-year period is to give a unique opportunity of ‘Sankalp se Siddhi’ towards a ‘New India’. The programme is in tune with the mass campaign started by the Prime Minister to take the six resolves to make the country free of corruption, free of poverty, free of filth, free of communalism, free of terrorism and free of casteism.
This programme is being done with the purpose of spreading Prime Minister’s message amongst the people of the country to help in achieving the vision of New India.
“The country is facing many challenges within and outside the boundaries. Social political and religious stability in the country is constantly under threat.
It is now the responsibility of today’s youth to realise the spirit of that magical night of 1947 and move on to the path shown by freedom fighters.
Because of this, the present generation should be aware of the ancestor’s sacrifice and respectful towards them. This day is very important for the current generation. So that they take the lessons from history,” the message says.
The song and drama division of the Ministry of I&B will hold cultural programmes every day on various aspects during the five-day exhibition.
On the sidelines of the exhibition the Field Outreach Bureau of Ministry of I &B will be organising film shows, talks and quiz competition to spread the idea of patriotism and love for mother India.
The Song and Drama Division troupes of Regional Outreach Bureau would also perform skits, drama and songs to inculcate the spirit of Nationalism, informed the officials.
