Pingali Venkayya remembered

Uppal: National flag designer Pingali Venkayya’s birth anniversary was celebrated at Ramanthapur government school on Thursday. Madhura Charitable Trust chairman, Congress party senior leader Ragidi Lakshma Reddy along with headmaster Sambayya paid floral tributes to portrait of the freedom fighter. He gave away prizes to essay writing competition winners. He appealed to the students to follow the footsteps of freedom fighters.
