‘Use water judiciously’

Kandi: Sangareddy Collector Vasam Venkateshwarlu during his surprise inspection of piped drinking water project Mission Bhageeratha in Kandi mandal, advised the villagers to use the drinking water judiciously to save the precious primary element for future to avoid famine. The Collector visited Cherlagudem and Kalivemula villages in the mandal and enquired about the implementation of the project in the gram panchayats where all the households are supplied with the tap connections.

The Collector, who inspected the local government high school in Cherlagudem village, expressed his anger over the absence of the staffers of the school even the students were sitting idle in the classes and enquired about the same by calling up the MEO. He, who was accompanied by RWS EE Jitendar Rao, DE Ramakrishan and village sarpanches, also inspected the construction of 2BHK houses in Kondapur mandal and ordered to speed up the works.
