“Life is like a buffet, you try a little bit of everything and by the time you go to the next round, you know exactly what you want and what you don’t,” says Jessica.

Jessica Wolff, the 20 something professional can’t get anymore versatile. Her resume is bolstered with extreme sports, motor biking, acrobatics, stunts and kung-fu apart from music which is her way of life. Music happened to Jessica at a young age.

“After a few years of playing piano, my interest for singing picked up and by the age of 12, my piano teacher started giving lessons. Later I pursued western classical music and found my way in to the world of pop-rock few years later,” she recalled.

For this fabulous girl, music is “one of the most beautiful ways to express feelings and a very powerful way to connect to people. It is a language that anyone can understand.” Currently working on the script for her next music video, Jessica is excited about bringing songs from her album ‘Renegade’ to life and setting the floor ablaze. The happy-go-lucky artist lives her life and expresses every emotion of it, through her songs. She also wishes to be involved musically in some charitable project, in addition to the shows she does.

Famous singer Pink (Alacia Beth Moore), the American songwriter, singer and actor, is Wolff’s idol and inspiration to perform the way she does.

Jessica is in India as part of the ‘100 Pipers India Music Week’ celebration. She performed in the city on Tuesday. Though they are sleep deprived, Jessica and her band have been travelling and performing across cities with the same enthusiasm and are extremely happy with the embracing nature of our countrymen. “People are very friendly and I have had a great time performing here. What I observed was that this place is full of culture, spices, colours and amazing people,” says the blue-eyed beauty.

Talking about where she gets the inspiration to write, Wolff says, “It can be anything-a situation, feeling, a word, a set of ideas or just people around me, to feel and write. It is also very important to vent out your anger or pain in order to be happy and also express the happiness and good feeling that one goes through without fear like a child does. That is all I do when I make music and sing and that is why my songs are usually message oriented.”

Extremely euphoric with the response and love she got from the country, she wishes to be come back to India again if time permitted.
