Our literary heritage is Old Testament, New Testament, Quran, Vedas and the epics and all those stories who do not have authors (collective ownership of humanity: an inheritance from our predecessors).

Our cultural heritage includes the institutions of marriage and customs. Ancient monuments are part of a national heritage of a country.

Digital heritage is cultural and educational resources that are produced, distributed and accessed in digital form rather than on paper: electronic journals, www, on-line databases and others are part of the world’s cultural heritage.

But the drawback of digital heritage is that it is prone to technical obsolescence and physical decay, and so is the instability of the Internet is an additional risk for knowledge accumulated in html format.

Hereditary is an adjective: hereditary means a title, an office, a right received or conferred on someone based on inheritance.

There are many people how inherit nothing yet they achieve something and leave inheritance for their progeny.
One may inherit heritage from one’s parents but also the unwanted traits too via heredity.
