There is a whole lot of marketing happening and unsuspecting people are continuously bombarded with data. The personal information which is collected is used for influencing to a great extent ”, said, Dr. Jitendra Das, Director, FORE School of Management, New Delhi.
Dr. Das was moderating at a seminar organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Chennai, on Branding, Product & Communication Design and Digital Marketing towards Nextgen MSME, along with his co-panelists, Ramesh Manickam, CEO - Centroid Design Pvt. Ltd. and Muthu Ramalingam, Director & CEO at Dextrasys Technologies Pvt.
Ltd. Das added that Design Thinking, Digital technologies and tools will change the way business is being done at the MSME. “In this highly competitive market, where ever the consumers are spending time, the MSME marketing team should be actively present to gather customer insights” he said.
Muthu Ramalingam, spoke about the understanding of the process of lead generation and sales conversions for MSMEs and the importance of being present in various platforms and mobile driven solutions for improving lead management, sales conversions and deeper insights on prospective customers.
Design playing a major role in business along with technology and communication, Ramesh Manickam, shared insights on different aspects of design which can be impacting business at the MSME. While design thinking was stated as a problem-solving process, product and communication design is something which customer connecting emotionally.
