Actress Nimrat Kaur gearing up for the final season of Homeland says she missed the warmth of our industry when working in Hollywood
Actress Nimrat Kaur gearing up for the final season of Homeland says she missed the warmth of our industry when working in Hollywood.
Nimrat interacted with media at the radio promotion of her Showtime, American TV series, Homeland in Mumbai.
The actress has given audience strong characters in films, Web series, and Hollywood. When asked how vast the experience is across the borders she said, "This difference is in viewing and in experience . It is mainly because we are culturally very different. Our environments are different, what we are as people reflects in our work culture. The way people work there can be more organized. There is a disciple maintained, we have deadlines and that's really something to learn from.
But I missed the warmth that we have here, and how people just hangout and chilling. It's our country, our people, our language. I got to experience different things in both environments."
Homeland is an American spy thriller television series developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War, which was created by Gideon Raff.
Nimrat who has also been part of the OTP platforms with ALT Balaji's 'The Test Case' says the platform is very helpful for the industry personals. "I think it is a great time for not only writers but also technicians and directors. Everyone is employed right now there is a lot of demand. So much that we mind run of supply. It is an exciting time for everyone."
On her future projects, she said, "I have a few on my mind, but I will look into them only after Homeland premiers. I am eagerly waiting for that right now and am focused on it so rest we will talk about later."
Homeland's finale season 8 will premier in June 2019.
