For the last few days, the verbal war between the kin of actor-turned-director Kangana Ranaut and Telugu director Krish over who should take credit for the box office success of ‘Manikarnika…’. Now, two Telugu actresses have come out in support of their B-town colleague Kangana Ranaut for her ‘unforgettable performance’ in a revered role.
None-other-than Samantha Akkineni has now conveyed her support to Kangana, hailing that her performance in ‘Manikarnika…’ is something unforgettable. "It has been two days and I can't get her performance out of my mind ..the only explanation I can give myself is that she must have been 'possessed ' it couldn't have been an act it just couldn't.
Please congratulate her and tell her she has our greatest support (sic)" tweeted Samantha, in response to Kangana's sister Rangoli.Earlier, responding to this controversy, actress Tamannaah gave a diplomatic reply. Hailing Kangana's performance, Tamannaah indirectly supported Krish as well. "I can only say that no one can touch her (Kangana) as an actor and the effort she kept for the film is unbelievable," said Tamannaah About the director, she added that "I know Krish.
I haven't worked with him but we belong to the same industry (Tollywood). The film should be kept more important than other things like what Krish has said as creative people have their own opinion."
