Filmmaker R Balki says hats off to the entire team of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga for natural and effortless work in forthcoming social drama.

Actor Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla along with Fatima Sana Shaikh and R Balki graced the special screening of forthcoming Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga here in Mumbai.

Talking about the film, R Balki said, “It is a very lovely film and a very special film. The film is beautifully made and we all should watch it. I think it is one of the most important films, which is done in a way that is absolutely right for the audiences, who must see it”

“It is not out of the box, this film needed to done and it’s been done, and it’s been done intelligently by Shelly Dhar Chopra, I mean hats off to her and the actors working in the film, so naturally and effortlessly”

Talking about the performance, Balki added, “I am impressed with everyone, Sonam and Rajkummar are the stars of the film but Anil Kapoor, I am always been fascinated by him. I think it is a film where everyone stands, especially the filmmaker Shelly”

Recently Ranveer Singh got trolled for taking a fun picture with cops at Umang 2019, and R Balki imparts with a piece of poignant advice.

He said, “Just ignore it, people will say what they feel and you can’t just follow it all. There are so many people saying so many things, but you can process this much, so just process what you want to process and leave the rest”

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a coming-of-age film directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. The tagline as shown on the released film trailer and poster is 'The most unexpected romance of the year'.

It stars Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, and Rajkummar Rao, and also features Akshay Oberoi, Regina Cassandra, Brijendra Kala and Madhumalti Kapoor in supporting roles.

The film is produced by Vinod Chopra Films and distributed by Fox Star Studios, the film will release on 1 February 2019.
