Actor Rajkummar Rao says that his forthcoming social drama Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is about to release, so there is no point being nervous about it.

Actor Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla along with Fatima Sana Shaikh and R Balki graced the special screening of forthcoming Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga here in Mumbai.

Talking about the film, Rajkummar said, “We’re getting positive reviews, the film is being screened everywhere and we've got a good response. The film is made with a lot of love and hard work; it is an entertaining film, which imparts with a good message in an entertaining way”

Movie release could be a nerve-wracking task for any actor, especially when you’re dealing with a sensitive issue of LGBT in the film, but Rajkummar says contrary is true.

When asked about being nervous for ELKDTAL, he said, “I am not nervous anymore, the film is complete now. I don’t see any point being nervous, the Friday is around the corner, but we’re very proud of the film”

With New Year, comes a new budget and Rajkummar Rao wants this budget to be beneficial for the common man.

He said, “I hope budget is common-man friendly, with new budget my expectation is that it should be beneficial for the common man”

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a coming-of-age film directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. The tagline as shown on the released film trailer and poster is 'The most unexpected romance of the year'.

It stars Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, and Rajkummar Rao, and also features Akshay Oberoi, Regina Cassandra, Brijendra Kala and Madhumalti Kapoor in supporting roles.

The film is produced by Vinod Chopra Films and distributed by Fox Star Studios, the film will release on 1 February 2019.
