The trailer for Luka Chuppi is here, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles. The movie is about a young couple, who are trying their hands at “live-in” relationship before actual marriage but the entire family makes it real.
Actor Kartik Aaryan shared the trailer on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Aayein Live-in सपरिवार kijiye…Presenting the #LukaChuppiTrailer @kritisanon #DineshVijan @Laxman10072 @MaddockFilms @TripathiiPankaj @Aparshakti @pathakvinay @JioCinema #JioStudios @TSeries #LukaChuppi”
Kartik Aaryan, a small town boy wants to get married to Kriti Sanon, who wants to try her hands at the live-in relationship before the actual wedding. But things go wrong when the entire families from both the sides come to know about their fake-secret wedding and make their ‘trying phase’ a real deal.
The trailer packs some solid hilarious punches with local dialects, situational comedy and outstanding performances by the ensemble, which includes big names like Pankaj Tripathi, Alka Amin, Aparshakti Khurrana and Vinay Pathak.
Luka Chuppi marks the first ever outing of Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan. The film is loaded with a generous dose of small-town humor.
Kartik plays the star reporter of a local TV channel in Mathura, and Kriti plays a Mathura girl who had gone to Delhi to study and now is back in her hometown.
Interestingly, the director of Luka Chuppi, Laxman Utekar, was the DoP of Hindi Medium among other films. He has also directed two Marathi films, Tapaal, and Lalbaugcha Raja. This will be his Bollywood debut.
The movie releases on 1st March 2019.
