The film unit promoted the film very well that everyone's attention was caught easily by the makers. The theatrical trailer looked routine but still, the makers tried to create buzz and drive the crowds to the theatres.
Unfortunately, the movie ended miserably on the first day with poor openings and average reviews. With elections being conducted on the same day, the election commission has canceled the morning and noon shows in a lot of areas in Telangana state. This has played the villain for the movie as the shows started only in the evening and a lot of people did not turn up in the theatres.
The reviews from AP and other areas where the film was screened in the morning are not encouraging and it showed the impact on the first day collections.
