Mehreen pockets Rs 70 lakh for 10 days?

Even before the news of pretty actress Mehreen Pirzada pocketing Rs 60 lakh to romance Sudheer Babu in his upcoming film could sink in, the light-eyed diva is reportedly drawing Rs 70 lakh for just 10 days work in her other film with Bellakonda Srinivas with a new director Srinivas. Despite Kajal Agarwal playing the main female lead in this action film, Mehreen has been roped to don a ‘special role’ which is quite significant to the plot.

“Mehreen is going to take home a pay of Rs 70 lakh for just 10 days work and she is laughing all the way to the bank” says a source, close to the unit. The actress raised many an eyebrow, by quoting Rs 60 lakh for Sudheer Babu’s film, despite her recent films like ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pantham, tanked at the box office. Actually, the ‘Raja The Great’ actress was drawing anywhere between Rs 35 to 40 lakh per film, but she revised her pay which is more than double and making pots of money.

“With dearth of actresses who are good looking as well as talented, Mehreen is in big demand as she proved her mettle in films like ‘Mahanubhavudu’, hence, a pay hike during a lean trot was possible,” the source adds. Undoubtedly, Mehreen has raced ahead of her rivals like Raashi Khanna and Lavanya Tripathi with a fancy pay. Nonetheless, the glam diva diva has breached the Rs 70 lakh mark faster in her two- year-old career.
