After several postponements, Naga Chaitanya’s much-awaited ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ is hitting the screens today on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturdhi. Coming from Maruthi, the film expected to be a wholesome entertainer. The trailer and songs promised the same and there are a lot of expectations over this film.
Though Chaitanya’s last outing ‘Yuddham Sharanam’ was a flop, this film did a pre-release business of around 25 crores. Anu Emmanuel is playing the female lead while seasoned actress Ramya Krishna will be seen as ‘Shailaja Reddy’. The film brings back the 90’s trend of ‘Attha-Alludu’ formula with modern touch. Apart from these three, top comedians like Vennela Kishore, Prudhvi are going to entertain us. Along with them, senior actors like Murali Sharma, Naresh and others will be seen.

The film is produced under ‘Sithara Entertainments’ banner and Nizar Shafi of ‘Bhala Bhale Mogadivoy’ and ‘Nenu Local’ fame handled the camera department. Music by Gopi Sundar was well received by the audience and his background score may add more depth to the film.
