Aadhi Pinisetty who is well-known for his story selection picked up an action thriller, 'Neevevaro' this time. Taapsee who starred in a horror comedy 'Anando Brahma' played the female lead. 'Guru' fame Ritika Singh is the second female lead. Harinath helmed the project. M.V.V.Satyanarayana is bankrolling this project. Touted to be a high paced action thriller, the tease and trailer of the movie have already impressed the audience. The movie unit is super confident that the film will strike a chord with the audience. The expectations for this film are high as well. Let's check out the review of the movie.
Story:
Kalyan (Aadi Pinisetty), is a blind chef who falls for Vennela (Taapsee). Taapsee frequently visits Kalyan's restaurant for the left-over foods. Kalyan slowly starts liking Vennela, but Anu (Rithika Singh) also loves Kalyan. Kalyan decides to marry Vennela, but Anu brings a marriage proposal with Kalyan. At this point, Vennela lands in trouble which results in an accident to Kalyan. What happens to Kalyan? What is Vennela's problem? Whom did Kalyan marry in the end? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances:
Aadhi's performance is utterly flawless. He gave the best performance as a blind chef. His expressions, body language, matches well with a visually challenged person. His performance is superb. Taapsee sure will steal the show with her stupendous performance. Both Aadhi and Taapsee carried the film with their best performances. Ritika Singh showed maturity in her performance. Her performance is eye-grabbing. Vennela Kishore and Saptagiri's light-weighted comedy is something that makes us laugh out loud. Tulasi delivered the decent performance. Shivaji Raja justified his role well. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
The intriguing plot of this film is something that keeps the audience engaged. The technical department of the film delivered flawless work. Director Harinath's impressive directional skills and story-telling capabilities are the major highlights. He executed the fast-paced story well. Production values by M.V.V.Satyanarayana are average. DOP by Sai Sriram is impressive. He captured the locations well. Editing by Pradeep E Raghav is clean. He made the movie on-point without diverting the viewers. Music by Achu and Prasan is excellent. They scored the best music which not only makes the audience curious but also gets involved in the story.
Verdict:
Neevevaro trailer has impressed everyone big time, but the movie has failed to live up to the expectations. The theatrical trailer has created a unique interest in the film but the film falls flat in the narration itself.
The first half of the movie has some gripping moments and a beautiful romantic track but post the interval sequence, the film falls flat wholly and leaves the audiences disinterested. The film loses the grip as the plot line becomes weak in the second half of the film. The director tried to maintain a unique suspense factor for the film but it was not shaped up well in the movie. On the whole, the film disappoints.
