Amala Paul opposite Balayya

A day after Puri Jagannadh announced that he has cast newbie Muskaan to be one of the three leading ladies in his film with Nandamuri Balakrishna, here’s another interesting development about the project. According to a source, the director has got the nod of Malayalam actress Amala Paul to be the film’s first leading lady.

The source says, “Puri has been touch with Amala for the past week few weeks and it was only recently that she said she is in. She had a great time working with Puri while on ‘Iddarammayilatho’ and when the offer to star in Balayya project came her way; she had to adjust her date diary before saying yes.

In fact, both the actress and the director are kicked about teaming up for the second time.” “Now that the main heroine has been finalised, Puri is keen on taking the second schedule on to floors pretty soon. Charmme Kaur is the other heroine,” the source adds.
