Script delays chay, Indraganti film

When news of Indraganti Mohanakrishna’s next with Adivi Sesh and Avasarala Srinivas surfaced last month, it did raise a lot of eyebrows as the maker was supposed to team up with Naga Chaitanya for his next.

Clarifying what transpired, the director, speaking to Talkies, said, “I couldn’t come up with a story that excited both me and Chaitanya. So it was mutual decision between me, Chay and producer Sai Korrapati to start the project at some other time. It’s not shelved but had been postponed.”

Presently, Indraganti is filming his multi-starrer. About it, he said, “Producer Narasimha Rao is a dear friend and I’ve promised to make a film for him long time back. I’m happy that it’s happening right now. Initially I wanted to do it after wrapping up Chay’s film but now that I’ve got some space, I decided to make it. “We are planning to wrap it up in two schedules and make the film ready for summer.”
