Teja Sajja set for debut as a lead

Seems like Teja Sajja’s long wait of debuting as a hero might be realised soon. Talkies has learnt that his first film will be produced by Bekkem Venugopal, while first timer Hari will direct it. A source close to the development confirms, “It’s a rural love story with major part of filming scheduled to take place in Godavari belt. The script work is going on and the project might roll next month.”

Teja, who acted as a child artiste in films like ‘Choodalani Vundi’, ‘Yuvaraju’, ‘Indra’, ‘Balu’, ‘Tagore’ and ‘Indra’, was supposed to make his debut with producer Neelima Tirumalasetti some time back but due to reasons best guarded the film was called off.
