Land Rover has started 2019 by offering a new variant for the Discover Sport, dubbed the Landmark Edition. Priced at Rs 53.77 lakh, the Landmark Edition slots in between the SE and HSE variants of the Discovery Sport. Notably, the price is on par with the HSE variant that has an ex-showroom price of Rs 53.75 lakh (ex-showroom India).
What is different in the Discovery Sport Landmark Edition? Well, it gets three exclusive colours: Narvik Black, Yulong White and Corris Grey. And all these colours come with a Carpathian Grey roof. A sportier looking front bumper and 18-inch alloy wheels add to its appeal. All these changes make the Landmark Edition a sportier alternative to the regular Discovery Sport.
Land Rover has made some changes on the inside too. There are dark grey aluminium trims on the centre stack, instead of brushed aluminium, and the interior leather upholstery is finished completely in black. The features list has not been tinkered with.
Under the bonnet, you get the option of only one engine: a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel that makes 180PS of power and 430Nm of torque. And just in case you were wondering, the terrain response tech from Land Rover is present too.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark Edition is offered with seven seats but goes up against 5-seaters like the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60 and Mercedes-Benz GLC.
