Guntur: Telangana government is harassing the people’s representatives who have business interests and properties in Hyderabad, alleged Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao.

Though Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been making this allegation for the past few days, it is for the first time that a businessman- turned- politician had levelled such an allegation.

In an informal chat with some reporters, Rao said that following pressure from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao some of the TDP leaders shifted their loyalty to other parties. He questioned as to what need was for them to change the party without any reason.

He said that the Telangana government has to release Rs 300 crore to Transstroy Company owned by his family, but the government was not releasing it. He said that when he met the officials, they told him to meet Chief Minister KCR.

He said that he had met KCR during the functions and asked for his appointment. Though he told him to meet him so far, no appointment has been given to him, he said. Rao said following this he was compelled to approach the High Court and if necessary, he would even go to the Supreme Court to get Rs 300 crore from the Telangana government, he added.

He said that the officials are telling him to meet KCR to clear his bills. "I will not compromise and go to the court if necessary to get the payment," he said and alleged that KCR government is threatening pharmaceutical companies who have roots in Andhra Pradesh to do favour to YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The senior MP said that KCR, Jagan mohan Reddy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi hatched a conspiracy against Chandrababu Naidu but they could do nothing. He expressed confidence that Chandrababu Naidu will become the chief minister for another term. He reiterated that he will contest from Narasaraopet Parliamentary constituency in the coming elections.
