Amaravati: As the poll battle is turning to be a bitter one between the TDP and YSRCP trying to woo the BCs, women and farmers, the TDP is now contemplating coming out with more surprise announcements in its manifesto. TDP has constituted its party manifesto committee headed by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and fourteen others as members.

Chandrababu Naidu reportedly directed committee chairman Ramakrishnudu to include employment generation to youth as one of the important promises for youth in the manifesto. The state government has been providing unemployed allowance to youth to the tune of Rs 2,000 per month and introduced skill development courses till 2019 general elections.

Naidu observed that they already created a fertile land in the state to generate employment by bringing various corporate companies into the state and some of them already started commencing. This will help in providing employment to at least 10 lakh youth in next five years. The TDP manifesto will also assure the beneficiaries that they will continue with the recently-introduced programmes and would be bringing in improvements depending upon the situation.

In addition to the existing welfare schemes to the farmers, the TDP is likely to give additional promise on providing Market Stabilisation Fund to meet the crisis situations like sudden price drop and others.

The manifesto committee is going to meet at Finance Minister’s office at Secretariat on Wednesday where the proposals prepared by the party and recommendations made to the government by officials during the preparation of budget but could not be incorporated would be discussed.
