Tirupati: The launch of Art of Living’s (AoL) Drug-Free India campaign through a live webcast organised in SVIMS-Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (SPMC-W) here on Tuesday.

Drug-Free India is an exclusive integrated 360-degree campaign run by AoL with a focus on combating drug abuse in India. The main objective of the campaign was to ensure that students and educational institutes in India are free from drugs, smoking and alcohol.

Supporting the initiative of Art of Living, SVIMS faculty, staff and students attended the live webcast of the programme and took pledge to eradicate drug abuse in the country. SVIMS Director Dr TS Ravikumar, Principal of SPMC-W Dr M Hanumantha Rao, Dr Subhadra Devi, Dr Umamaheswara Rao, Dr Shravani and others have attended.
