Guntur: BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a massive public meeting at Budampadu in Guntur city and urged the party leaders to make the public meeting a grand success.
He said, the government led by Modi has been implementing 130 schemes for the welfare of the poor and explained what the Centre had done for the development of the AP during the last four and half years and also funds released by the Centre to the State.
Special Protection Group Inspector General, Alok Varma, Kanna Lakshminarayana, Guntur urban SP. Ch Vijaya Rao, Guntur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar, on Thursday, visited the venue where Modi will address the public meeting and reviewed the arrangements.
Speaking on this occasion, Kanna said, “Because of the steps taken by the Narendra Modi’s government, the income of the farmers has doubled. The Centre has given 10% reservations to the poor in the Upper Castes in education and employment fields.
Though Centre has 10 years’ time to fulfill promises in the State Bifurcation Act, Modi government fulfilled most of the promises during the last four and half years and Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu is making false propaganda against the Centre.”
Lakshminarayana said that after Modi became Prime Minister, terrorist attacks have come down in the country and army, through surgical strikes, retaliated the attacks by Pakistan army and extremists. He alleged that while erecting the cloth banners for Modi’s public meeting in Guntur, Prakash Arts is getting threatening calls from the Minister for Panchayat Raj and IT Lokesh Naidu's office.
BJP state vice-president Turaga Nagabushanam, party State leaders Pardha Saradhi, Talla Venkatesh Yadav and Sanyasi Raju were among those present.
