Visakhapatnam: The state-level Inspire MANAK Science Expo was concluded at SFS High School, Seetammadhara here on Tuesday. As many as 59 projects out of 529 projects exhibited by the students of the 13 districts were selected for the National level Inspire Manak which will be held at IIT, Delhi from February 13th to February 15th.
Speaking about the Science Fair, School Education Commissioner K Sandhya Rani said that the achievements of a person matters more than the place he/she belongs to, and progress can be seen when one questions. Most of the problems faced by the world were solved by scientific developments, so students must have a scientific approach to help the society, the School Education Commissioner said.
Former VC of Nannayya University, M Muthyala Naidu quoted “Work with Discipline brings success and it is the formula followed by all the successful people. Students must incorporate discipline in their life”. SCERT Director D Madhusudhan Reddy stated that AP stood second in the country with 28000 applications from the students for the Inspire MANAK. He praised the District Education Officers, Headmasters, Teachers and Students for their active participation in the Science Expo.
SCERT representative Lakshmi Vats and Coordinator Professor Jayaram, Visakhapatnam DEO B LIngeswara Reddy, Deputy Education Officers D Ramaraju and N Premkumar along with SFS High School Father Indra Reddy and others were present at the concluding event.
