Amaravati: Arrangements have been made for the all-party and social organisations’ meeting to be organised by TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Special Category Status (SCS) and other issues of state interest here on Wednesday. Authorities are inviting all political parties to discuss on the injustice done to the state by the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.

Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to hold the meeting gained importance as the Central government is going to present Vote-on-Account budget, the final budget of the BJP government in Parliament in February. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Secretariat at 2 pm, after the conclusion of first day’s proceedings of the Assembly vote-on-account budget session on Wednesday

This is the third all-party meet being conducted by Chandrababu Naidu, after he fell out with the BJP and walked out of NDA. The scheduled Cabinet meeting has been postponed to January 31 in order to convene the all-party meeting, said sources in the Chief Minister’s Office.

In the meeting, a roadmap to be followed during the Parliament session, which will begin on January 31, is expected to be decided upon. Naidu, who sent his representatives to the all-party meeting conducted by the former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar, is inviting all parties to unite all the anti-BJP forces in the state against the Central government.

The YSRCP leaders did not attend the previous two all-party meetings conducted by the Chief Minister and there has been no word from the party on the latest invite.

During a teleconference with the party leaders on Tuesday, Chandrababu Naidu informed that the party was going to organise the all-party , meeting where he will discuss on the injustice done to state by Narendra Modi.

The Central budget slated for February 1 would be the last budget of the present government and there would be demonstrations in Delhi a day before the Appropriation bill, he said. He added that the TDP’s struggle against the Centre should be taken to the people to create awareness among them.

“The TDP is the only party that has been consistently fighting the Central government for the rights of Andhra Pradesh while YSRCP’s all activities are nothing but a sham,” Naidu added. He said that the YSRCP leaders joined hands with the BJP to come out of cases against the party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Vijayasai Reddy and others.
