AP's Special Status Fight Intensified

The ongoing fight for special status to Andhra Pradesh will be intensified ahead of assembly elections. Former senior leader Vundavalli Arun Kumar called an all party meeting on the special status issue on Tuesday and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu convened another all party meeting on Wednesday.

The fulfillment of the assurances given to Andhra and release of funds will also be discussed in the meeting. Dharna at Parliament by Chandrababu on the last of the budget session is already finalised.
