Tribal, folk dances to enthral audience during Visakha Utsav

Visakhapatnam: Clubbing the classical and traditional with the Western dances, the Visakha Utsav committee has finalised a series of programmes for the three-day event from December 28. After a series of meetings, the committee announced the list programmes at the main stage area and at Jathara area.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the Utsav at 5.30 pm followed by tribal and folk dances. Later, the Eastern Naval Command band programme will be performed followed by a song on Vizag launch. The Grammy award winner’s Ricky Kej band and Kerala-based most popular band Thaikkudam Bridge will be performed at the main venue.
On the second-day, classical dance concert by Kuchipudi Kala Kendra, a tribal and folklore Jathara, another band performance Local Train and music concert by Jaspreet Jazz, Bhargavi Pillai, and Manisha will be staged.
On valedictory day on December 30, a novel dance performance, LED interactive dance, The Vizag Story, World Fusion Dance-10 ‘Nations United’ and KK live-in-concert and prize distribution programmes were arranged.
A flower show was arranged at Vizag Central Park close to RTC Complex and many other programmes from the local talents north coastal AP arranged at Jathara venue. Mirror Act, Contemporary Dance, Folk Carnival, Dhimsa, Puliveshalu, Maha Sakthi Veshalu, Kattisamu, Spring dance, LED Lights Act, Nagini dance, Doll dance, Tappetigullu and Tribal Hip Hop programmes will enthrall the audience during the three-day event.
