Nellore: Unauthorised hoardings and flex boards on all major roads in city are posing problems for smooth flow of vehicular traffic in city besides creating troubles to pedestrians and commuters. The Municipal Corporation fails to get significant revenue from the hoardings.

Though there are 20 agencies which erect hoardings and display boards in the city areas majority of them are not getting permissions from the civic body to arrange them.

Nellore, which has been developing with industries, economic zones, thermal plants and other manufacturing units, has spread and migrating population has also been increased substantially. The city is also having a wide network of roads that include CC and BT roads to an extent of around 320 km.
