AMPL displays new Ashok Leyland trucks

Guntur: Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL) on Friday organised customers displayed a wide range of vehicles including Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (ICVs), Tippers and Haulage here on Friday.

Rajiv Sanghvi, Executive Director, Automotive Manufacturers said that the entire range of products were offered with the proven iEGR (Intelligent Exhaust Gas Re-circulation) technology for BS-IV engines and Ashok Leyland is the only domestic OEM to implement this technology successfully for its products above 130HP and which goes up to 320 HP.

Ashok Leyland’s 16-Tyre, 4123 model was showcased for the first time, a 16 Tyre model with 47.50 tonnes GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) is being offered in the industry, and it has the potential and game changer for the customers It will prove to be very useful for transportation of bulk goods like steel, cement, and other dense materials, said Rajiv Sanghvi.

He said we have been listening to our customers and continuously improving our network, reach and services to create a superior customer experience.

Coupled with this over the years Ashok Leyland products have been giving best in class mileage and performance, and as a consequence, Ashok Leyland vehicles have been commanding highest resale value and have been the market share leaders with 56 percent market share in the heavy commercial vehicle segment in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
