Vijayawada: The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) would start second phase of online flats sale booking for its prestigious Happy Nest Project at 9 am on Monday. As per the inquiries, the huge number of NRIs and IT employees are in queue to book flats. Significantly, middle class people are showing interest to book the flats.
The CRDA sold out 300 flats in just 10 minutes in the first phase through online sales and now it has made arrangements to sell 900 flats in the second phase. The demand for the flats in Happy Nest project only reflects the demand for housing projects in AP’s capital Amaravati.
The CRDA fixed the base price at Rs 3,500 onwards for each sft. There is huge demand for Happy Nest flats due to the other ventures around Amaravati and which are offered at a base price of Rs 4,200 minimum per sq ft.
Moreover, the CRDA has designed the project by providing huge space for greenery, club house and other amenities. Apart from this, the people are very much interested about housing projects in Amaravati capital location.
Besides, the middle class and upper class section investors are also eagerly waiting to buy flats in the capital, said a house wife T Moushmi.
Speaking to The Hans India, she said that her family members tried to book a flat during the first phase online bookings. But they could not book the flat due to heavy competition, she said and added that now she requested her family members to book a flat online on behalf of her.
A Krishna Rao, a private builder, said that people have full confidence on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s capability to construct the new State capital. It is the one of the factors which is motivating people to buy flats through the CRDA’s prestigious project.
Meanwhile, the staff of CRDA help desk informed that they got enquiry calls from US, Canada, Australia and some other countries. They contacted and expressed their interest to book the flats.
