Srikakulam: Kin of fishermen detained in Pakistan sought help of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday.

YS Jagan continued his Padayatra on Sunday in Ch.Sirlam, Lingalavalasa, Reddypeta and Lachchannavalasa and Burada village in Regidi mandal in Rajam Assembly segment.

Family members of 13 fishermen who were apprehended by Pakistan coast guards three days ago met YS Jagan and sought his help for their safe release.

Fishermen from D Matsyalesam and Badivanipeta villages in Etcherla mandal requested Jagan for his intervention and asked him to exert pressure on the Central government for quick release of the fishermen detained in Pakistan.

Jagan assured them that he would speak to the Central ministers for safe and quick release of the detained fishermen. Jagan covered a distance of 8.2 kilometres on Sunday during his Yatra, He assured to improve lives of workers at brick industry and farm labourers.
