Visakhapatnam: K Bangar Raju, Manager, Corporate Communication, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the flagship company of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) has been presented with “Steelies India 2018 Award” for exemplary contribution and excellence in Media Relations and External Communications.
The award was presented by Rajib Banerjee, Minister of Backward Classes Welfare, Government of West Bengal to K Bangar Raju during the national conference on “Integrated and Secondary Steel Sector—Growth and Survival Strategies” held at Kolkata on Monday night. Bangar Raju was felicitated for his outstanding contribution in the field of media relations and external communication at RINL-VSP.
The Steelies India Awards were also presented to several eminent industry professional and leaders to mark the completion of 20 years of the existence of Steel and Metallurgy magazine. Nirmalya Mukherjee convener of the conference compered the event.
